Jodha Bai’s Palace (or Jodha Bai Ka Rauza) is one of the largest buildings in Fatehpur Sikri. It was the residence of Jodha Bai (also called Mariam-uz-Zamani), and other queens of Akbar. And the palace is a mirror of the respect and recognition Jodha Bai received.

Jodha Bai was the sister of Man Singh, a powerful ruler of Jaipur. And she became Akbar’s most beloved queen.

There’s no entrance fee to visit the palace. It’s part of the Fatehpur Sikri Fort, the ticket price of which is ₹50 per person for Indian, SAARC and BIMSTEC country visitors. For visitors from other countries, the entry fee is ₹610. Kids below 15 years don’t require any ticket.

While Jodha Bai’s Palace is open throughout the year, the best time to visit it is during winter (from November to February). During these days, the weather is the most suitable for exploring it. Plan your visit in the morning or late afternoon hours to see the attraction comfortably.

A small Fatehpur Sikri railway station is the nearest, only about 3 km away. And from Agra airport, Jodha Bai Palace is 34 km away. But the nearest international airport is in Delhi (215 km away).
